Our school in Hamburg, Stadtteilschule Ida Ehre) has a strong connection to the field of Arts and is fortunate to be able to carry out an intercultural art project funded by the European Union (Erasmus+) with the António Arroio art school based here in Lisbon, bringing both closer in our pedagogical experience in the field of artistic and audiovisual production.
The art project that we present on 30th september, is dedicated to the exploration of the foreign, in the sense of a never-ending source of art, culture, education – in other words, the origin of art and learning. The matrix of this exploration will be the artistic research of the city of Lisbon, in particular the finding of contemporary forms of possible applications of so called situationist strategies. The core of the exploration of this artistic method is the continuous overcoming of habitual modes of perception and action, in the sense of a curiosity about the foreign within one’s own – in other words, an experimental opening to form-openness.
